Children will learn geography through topics which may have links to other subject areas. We provide opportunities to investigate and enquire about our local area which will support children to develop and understanding of who they are, their heritage and what makes our local area so unique and special. We support children to gain knowledge and understanding of places in the world.

 

We provide opportunities to increase children’s knowledge of other cultures and, in so doing, teach a respect and understanding of what it means to be a positive citizen in a multi-cultural country. Through fieldwork children will learn graphic skills, including how to use, draw and interpret maps.
